WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW DIRECTOR OF MUSIC

We are seeking a new Director of Music to take the band forward from September 2022.

​

This role is responsible for:

• musical output of the band

• conducting

• rehearsing

• programming of our 4 concerts and other smaller engagements each year

​​

Applicants must be able to:

• lead and motivate a large band membership 

• inspire the band whilst having fun

 

Essential skills:

• high level of musicianship

• good communication skills

• conducting experience

​

Desirable skills:

• experience conducting in wind bands

​

Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings between 19:30 and 21:30 at Thornden Hall.
